We understand beef labels can be confusing. As a consumer, you have options when it comes to beef production practices. While all cattle spend the majority of their lives free grazing on pasture lands across America, there are different ways of finishing beef. BEEF MYTHS BUSTED
> Myth: Grass finished beef is the healthiest beef for you.
Truth: The nutritional profile of grass finished & grain finished beef are very similar. While grass finished beef tends to be a little leaner, both grass finished & grain finished beef are good sources of more than 10 essential nutrients including protein, iron, zinc & B vitamins.
> Myth: Grain finished beef contains glyphosate residue from feed.
Truth: Cattle are ruminant animals with a 4 compartment stomach. Ruminants are set apart by their complex digestive systems. The way they process food & absorb nutrients is different from other herbivores. Numerous studies have shown that the beef of grain fed cattle contains no glyphosate reside.
